This applies to so many aspects of building meaningful relationships in adulthood! Just because we share XYZ, it doesn't mean we are auto-besties. Resonates with me in so many ways. <3

Thank you for writing this! As an aspiring parent I’m always so worried that all my friends and my sole identity will be about having children. Appreciate you living a life that is not wholly child-centric. Your growth is her growth too.

Thank you, Bo! Entering parenthood with this level of intention is half the battle, or at least that’s what I’ve found so far. I had the same fears of losing myself and, with time, I now feel less anxious about that and more certain about prioritizing me too.
